当代世界研究中心
当代世界研究中心（以下简称“当研中心”）成立于2010年8月，是中共中央对外联络部直属智库，履行“一带一路”智库合作联盟理事会秘书处职能，主要从事世界政党政治等国际比较研究，长期关注“一带一路”倡议等重大议题，聘任具有国际影响力的国内外政要、专家学者为特约顾问和研究员。中心与国内外主要研究机构和高等院校保持密切合作。
2015年4月，当研中心牵头成立“一带一路”智库合作联盟，联合176家国内与147家“一带一路”沿线各国主流智库，构建“一带一路”国际智库合作网络。聘请社会党国际荣誉主席、希腊前总理乔治•帕潘德里欧，斯洛文尼亚前总统达尼洛•图尔克，波黑部长会议前主席兹拉特科•拉古姆季亚，埃及前总理伊萨姆•沙拉夫，法国前总理多米尼克•德维尔潘，伊拉克前总理伊亚德•阿拉维，意大利前总理马西莫•达莱马，马达加斯加前总理、前国家元首拉齐拉胡纳纳•诺尔贝尔•拉拉，蒙古国前总理林•阿玛尔扎尔格勒，坦桑尼亚前总理米曾戈•平达，罗马尼亚前副总理兼外交部长阿德里安·塞韦林，印度尼西亚前国会议长、总统顾问委员会成员阿贡•拉克索诺，泰国前国会主席颇钦•蓬拉军，安第斯议会前议长、秘鲁国际政治研究院院长古斯塔沃·帕切科等组成智库联盟国际顾问委员会。成立“中蒙俄经济走廊”“新亚欧大陆桥经济走廊”“中国-中亚-西亚经济走廊”“中国-中南半岛经济走廊”“中巴经济走廊”“孟中印缅经济走廊”“澜沧江湄公河合作机制”“海上丝绸之路”等八大走廊分支智库网络，领衔“一带一路”专项研究，搭建“一带一路”学界交流平台，助力“一带一路”民心相通。当研中心每年联合国内外成员单位举办 “一带一路”相关主题会议，组织人员赴“一带一路”沿线国家实地考察调研，深入了解“一带一路”建设实况，积极与中外学界深入交流合作，凝聚共建“一带一路”共识。
China Center for Contemporary World Studies (CCCWS)
China Center for Contemporary World Studies, established in August 2010, is a think tank affiliated to International Department of CPC Central Committee. It serves as Secretariat of Silk Road Think Tank Association (SRTA) and focuses on studies about world party politics and Belt and Road Initiative in particular. CCCWS advisors and researchers include influential foreign and Chinese political figures, scholars and experts. It has maintained close cooperation with major Chinese and foreign research institutions and universities.
In April 2015, CCCWS led to establish “Silk Road Think Tank Association” (SRTA) together with 176 Chinese and 147 foreign think tanks. SRTA has invited former Prime Minister of Greece and Honorary President of Socialist International George Papandreou, former President of Slovenia Danilo Turk, former Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zlatko Lagumdzija, former Prime Minister of Egypt Essam Sharaf, former Prime Minister of France Dominique de Villepin, former Prime Minister of Iraq Ayad Allawi, former Prime Minister of Italy Massimo D’Alema, former Prime Minister and former Head of State of Madagascar Ratsirahonana Norbert Lala, former Prime Minister of Mongolia Rinchinnyamyn Amarjargal, former Prime Minister of Tanzania Mizengo Pinda, former Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Romania Adrian Severin, former Speaker of the People’s Representative Council and Member of Presidential Advisory Council of Indonesia Agung Laksono, former President of Thailand Parliament Bhokin Bhalakula, and former President of Andean Parliament and President of International Institute of Governance of Peru Gustavo Pacheco to form the SRTA International Advisory Board. SRTA focuses on researches, academic exchanges and people-to-people bond facilitation in eight sub-networks of Belt and Road Initiative: China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor, New Eurasian Land Bridge Economic Corridor, China-Central Asia-West Asia Economic Corridor, China-Indochina Peninsula Economic Corridor, China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor, Lancang-Mekong cooperation, Maritime Silk Road.
CCCWS, jointly with its foreign and Chinese SRTA members, holds events on Belt and Road Initiative and sends researchers to countries along the Belt and Road on field studies, so as to gain knowledge about developments of Belt and Road Initiative, deepen cooperation with foreign academia and pool consensus on jointly building Belt and Road Initiative.
